Troy,is a basketballl player from East View high school. he Met Grabiella,at a new year's party. the sang a Very nice song, Start of Something New
they excanaged numbers.
they met again when gabriella transferred to his school.
and the accidentally auditioned for the school musical and got a call back. they were against the school's lead actors, Sharpay and Ryan Evans. played by Ashley Tisdale and Lucas Grabeel
HOWEVER. Troy's and Gabriella's Friends, Chad and Taylor are against the idea of them joining the musical so they hatch a plot which tears the couple up .
